   I didn't notice the loss of his golden coloring until you pointed it out, but yeah, I can see it. Who's his brother, by the way? Anyone you've introduced, or is it just his backstory?

      Here is Tar’s older brother (he is also the father of twins Lulu and Juju, thus Tar is their uncle).

      In the timeline where Tar is with Aranea his meeting with older brother (it was during the events of Oblivion - destruction of Bruma's Mages Guild. Tar was there as well as his brother, who was leading necromancers) was interrupted by the Champion.
      In this version Champion came later and the Necromacer managed to persuade Tar to come with him and turned his favorite “perfect little brother” to the Black Arts.
