About this image
Hello!
This is only an archive of all my contributions to the Saturday Night Celebrities event, me and Tanja started back in October 2016. Since I'm going through all my characters, giving them a bit of a revamp, I reached my first SNC character today, Leliana from Dragon Age.
Because I've done quite some more since the event got introduced, I wanted to keep them all handy in one place - just as my game characters and themes for the Word event - so this will be it.
The main shot has already been uploaded once, so no need to endorse or anything. This is simply a library for my own easy access.
Play bravely, but be smart and survive!
Cheers!

I'd love to get into something like this though - what's your workflow for these? Do you just play with sliders and then sculpt in Racemenu or do you use some other 3D editor? What do you use as a base? I thought it might be easier to start with a better base than the vanilla presets (such as an already fancy looking follower) and change (or mutilate, as the case may be~) them from there.
There's actually a serious lack of resources on how to get started on any of this (at least as far as I could find), when I first looked at Racemenu Sculpt an year or so ago I just had no clue and didn't look back until pretty recently. I know -how- to use it now, but actually turning out something decent is a different matter.
I guess it mostly comes down to practice and patience, but I'd be curious in how you or others who consistently make interesting characters usually approach this. I'm still pretty happy with my character but it would be pretty boring if she'd be the only one I'd upload things with
And yes, this is just a drop in this sea of characters I have!
This way I can better link to old uploads too if need be, because I do intend to make more SNC characters, mostly from the game Baldur's Gate, but I also have a few from Dragon Age left, especially since I've now also played DAI (I hadn't when Tanja and I started this). It's mostly for my own sake though, but if people find it's helping, all the better.
It's sad that we don't use these characters...well, I have for a bit, but mostly to take them somewhere and then change the preset into another regular game character for a bit of posing. My two real life contributions as well as the ones from Game of Thrones, are made into game characters though. I don't see the likeness as well in those as I do with the characters from video games, so I've made them adventurers in my worldspace instead. Real life people are a lot harder than digital, obviously...
Thanks for visiting this late hour, Heike!
