It is always worth to save your stories for when I really have time. Exceptional works with portraying real people with their emotions. Always get completely sucked in and the images are a wonderful bonus

You know, I always love your empathic and mystic style ... writing and pictures together bring me to another world ..
I´m tensed, how this story will go on, now, when Saga appeared again ... so much changed, but I think, such deep emotions between people don´t do it. And when someone felt betrayed in such constellation it will be hard to continue in the "normal" way ...

Nothing is ever simple in this world, isn't it? We have to just wait and see...

I have found myself seriously intrigued by the world that you are creating. Your imagery is beautiful and the words you lend to page, it is both mesmerizing and all often soul baring and real. I commend you on your work and will be following. I thank you for your contribution to my world, you have made it that much more pleasant to be in.

Your way of writing it is simply impressive, you convey emotions in a such unique way and with a pure mastery... I couldn't stop, I had to read everything. Such a fascinating story! I suppose I missed everything you wrote before so it is even more mysterious to me! Wonderful pics too, they speak even without words. Loved the detail of hair - messy and dirty when she arrived and then clean textures - and she is... Mesmerizing. Such a deep character... Outstanding work! Must track you or I will miss other works of you :O And kudos to you milady, for these epic stories!

Oh, thank you very much for such kind words! I'm really happy you liked the set. The story itself is already finished (this is a flashback, a continuation of a sort), but it was never linear to begin with

My first thought when I finished is the idea of someone falling off a pedestal. That happened with me towards my parents in fall of 2016. I have always somewhat idolized them in many ways but then they fell. It has taken over a year for me to reconcile that.

So perhaps that is a bit how Alerik feels. Perhaps worse as she fell into darkness. But in the end it seems he understands she is only human and has come to terms with it. I am glad he reached out to her and talked with her. Poor Saga has been through so much and would have been almost too cruel for her to have lost another friend.

Wonderful images - so melancholic and moody in the colors and feeling. You did a nice job portraying her changes and the aftermath - and how vulnerable she looked in the end. Although to me Saga has always looked vulnerable in your stories.

I had to stop near the end as I started to get a bit moist around the eyes. Very poignant writing. Great story Kayol.

I'm very sorry to hear that. I'm afraid 2016 was quite a season for disappointments in family members, and other people as well. Here's to the 2018 being a time for better things, and people bettering themselves.

I always considered Alerik a soulful creature, but his senses were dulled by the "true son of Skyrim" kind of upbringing: he struggles with ideas he's not familiar with, but it only takes time (and encouragment from others at times) for him to process the problems and find understanding. And he doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He cannot be cruel. Therefore, he could not abandon Saga, even though the Dragonborn vanished.

You tearing up, even the tiniest bit, is seriously a truly high praise. Thank you very much! Or should I say, "sorry?" I knew I should have included some stupid jokes to lighten the mood, I just knew it!...

Very powerful. Your prose is sparse, yet poetic, painting the images with stronger colors, imbuing them with volumes of information.

    Amazing set.

Fascinating work Kayol. This story had me riveted. The little details you use in the pics are excellent (like the hair thing Lucy mentioned and the falling leaves). I love how you characters feel like people with fears and desires, dreams and vulnerabilities. It makes them come to life.

Thank you for the comment! I do try to make my little scribble-babies more or less realistic, so it means a lot that you consider them lifelike.

People are not black and white, but shades of grey, their intentions and morals confused and blending together, creating a society of untruths. Our lives are a masquerade.
