"What do you mean, sweetheart?" asked the Elder Vilja, with a raising level of concern coloring her voice.
"There seems to be something unusual happening with all of your eyes!"  replied Graykin a little worriedly.
"All of us?" Serana exclaimed in a startled tone.
"Yes,,, every one of you has your eyes changing into different colors!" he elaborated, "Are any of you feeling different in any manner?".
"Well... now that you mention it..." the Younger Twin stated reluctantly, "I am feeling dizzy and strangely unfocused!" she added.
"Just great!!"  Graykin  said excitedly, "Whatever is in this old tunnel, doesn't have our best interest at heart!" he concluded, "Let's make like horse poo and hit the trail out of here, as fast as we can!' He turned and started to run back towards the entrance.
"We are right behind you!' Serana and the Twins all yelled together and soon  outpaced Graykin, who was already huffing and puffing by this time!

    What a mystery! Were Graykin's eyes affected, also? Or, only the women? What kind of object or life form can cause that? Who has knowledge that can help them? So many questions to resolve. It will be interesting to see what they do next.

    When it's time to beat a hasty retreat, it's always the old and unfit that get left behind.

      I qualify for both of those labels! ( BTW, sent you an e-mail on your aux. account, did it go through? Just found the Australian Broadcast Company, looking at the S/W area above Tasmania. What a freaking beautiful place! ) Your down to 20 a day? What a coincidence! So am I! (we're talking candy bars in my case!)
