i imagined her backstory to be in highest echelons of the Summerset ilses. A rank compared to countess would suit her quite nicely.
Not only massively wealthy and powerfull, also a thriven executioner for the thalmor. Being sent by the thalmor queen to remove the irritating and the simply annoying... untill getting caught at the border by not only the stormcloaks, but also the empire.
