I´m so glad, that you like my trial of landscape in the main ... thank you, my dear master of paintings and emotions
When you wrote you had a story set in mind for this new event of mine, I figured it would take you at least a few days or so to get something together, yet I sit here now and marvel at your darkness already. That was fast, Heike!
It's such perfect images too with an eerieness and a dark fantasy-atmosphere, just what I was hoping for. The phrase I picked is so well-known I was afraid people would get scared off by it. These words are part of The One Ring after all, but this is why I wanted to challenge people with this phrase. They withhold so much if you take them out from Tolkien's world of writing and then try adding the imagination of your own instead...and here we can see one of those superb interpretations I was hoping for!
For some reason, the very first in the description speaks the most to me. The landscape there looks so dark and evil it surely would bind anyone daring enough to visit. This particular image also reminds me greatly about the scene from "The Fellowship of the Ring" when they all reach the lakeside near the hidden entrance to Moria. I can truly imagine some unnatural paths like this with high black walls and misty waters...
Thank you kindly for joining, dear Heike!
I know, it´s not an exactly response to the Lord of Rings, but it´s a kind off essence to me. I have read the books a very long time ago and I saw only one part of the films, because I wanted that my ilusion will stay ...
It was a wonderful accidence that I just have finished Questhaven and it brought exactly the right mood for your idea. The pics were ready and I had to make only a short version of what will happen ... this was really my very first intention And this is the reason, because I was so fast. Maybe a nice mod for one of your chars too
bad to the bone
