Nice indeed but whenever I trie to take it #, it never shows up in my inventory. Therefore I can never end the quest ELDER KNOWLEDGE. Any thoughts on that?

    You could try to add it through the console.

    If you dont have Dawnguard Installed, then the base ID is ----0002D513
    If you DO, then the name changes to Elder Scroll (Dragon), and the base ID would be------XX0126DC

      That wouldn't necessarily solve it though, you'd have the scroll then, but sometimes if you don't pick up the specific elder scroll picked up in that area, it won't finish the quest. You'll also need to "complete" the quest with the console too. The console code for that is "Setstage MQ205 100".

      worked perfectly fine! thank you. but now i am stuck with the quest where you have to read the elder scroll to attract alduin. so could someone of you be so kind to explain it in detail to get the elder scroll via console?
