What can't you make look good?
You make me really tensed ... maybe I will try it too in future . Thanks a lot
Rick. Question xD
That Kynareth whatever metal tin gear... Light or heavy armor?
It surprises me you didn't know about this old piece of nostalgia! The mod is from 2012 so it's been around for a very long time. It's actually one of the first mods I started to use, but the armors looked far better back then since the over all quality of textures in Skyrim wasn't too great. Sadly many of these armors have "run it's course" because the textures can be utterly bad, so they're not ideal for screenarchery.
In gameplay however they add a lot since they're in the leveled lists and also every armor fits for both male and female characters. I still play with it installed...
Many more to come from this mod too, since I've made 6-7 sets of it. There are 30+ armors in the mod!
Thank you for the very kind words as usual!
It is a good compilation of armors that works neatly and without any fuss within the game. It's also a big bonus all the armors fit both males and females, and they're also a lot more bulky and "heavy looking" compared to the hundreds of skimpy sets out there. Sadly the texture quality is rather bad in many cases, but it works for action shots and random gameplay at least...
Also, thanks for the kind words! I'm absolutely not the most experienced when it comes to showcase sets and I don't use heavy DOF, bokeh effects and such, so I can't reach the top levels, but I'm having a lot of fun and that's what matters to me...
Ah, the Kynareth Master armor as it's called. Well, to be honest, this was the very first time I even tried it on! I'm mostly more of a "toned down"-fantasy kind of man who prefer a somewhat realistic approach (yes, I know it's a fantasy game) so the armors looking a bit "out there" ain't normally my thing. I'll have to load the game and have another look, but it's made of glass (the textures at least) so I'm pretty sure it's a light armor. I confirm it to you the next time I load Skyrim...which would be in a few hours or so, I'm guessing!
Yes, it's a light armor with a body piece, arms, legs, a helmet and a shield...
I worked a lot more with different FOV settings here since it's a showcase and not a travel set...
And call me Rick!
Nice show case and I did not know that paladin armour looked this good
Funny you mention it though, because I don't recall having rain for any of the armors included in this package and it's nearly 30 armors in there, so 30 showcases without a drop of rain. Now that's not normal in my gameworld!
The Azura Paladin armor surprised me too, but it looks a lot more great in screenshots from afar. The textures are quite bad when going too close which is sad since it's a real tank armor.
Thank you, Chris!
Getting quite nostalgic going through all these old armors, since they've been around for almost as long as the Skyrim game itself...
The Azura Paladin armor has a lot of details, especially the etchings in the steel (goes for the shield as well) are nicely done. It's a real shame the textures aren't of higher quality. The armors look alright when doing shots of standing poses and in action sets, but up-close they're sadly not too fun looking at. Works well enough for gameplay though, but hardly quality screenarchery.
Thank you very much!
This is a nice surprise seeing you around again! How cool! I hope it's not a temporary visit...and if it is, that's fine too of course!
Thanks a lot!
I feel like Armonizer gets overlooked by a lot of people (The thumbnail doesn't draw people in I feel since you have to zoom in so far), so it's cool you're showcasing them .
Armonizer Armors Pack has been around for a long time now and I suppose Erwin explains a bit about the why of this package being overlooked - the textures aren't really good at all (well, in most cases at least). There's a lot of new armors with HD quality, so my guess is this mod gets the boot when modlists are getting upgraded.
It's one of the first mods I ever used for armors though, so I figured I should give it a showcase at least, because I still have it in my game, even if I don't use many of them nowadays. This will also be a big showcase since I've made shots with every armor included, so there's six sets (this being the first)...
