Very nice image of your vampire character. To me it's not visible that you've never tried it before, but then again, I also never made one myself,..
The drawings look very cool also,.. great work. An Art I do not master,.

It is one of Izzy's characters, my characters were always walking atrocities

To me it's not visible that you've never tried it before

I'm not sure what you mean by this. I had a very long pause at drawing; however, I did draw a lot while I was a kid.

I'm glad you like the drawings

Yes,.. I can see why this is confusing,.. I meant that it was not visible to me that you did not draw for a long time. I wrote this in a rush,.. 15 minutes later I was in the car on my way to austria,..

You are most welcome! And I admit ... I envy you. x)
You know that she, judging by her paws, is going to grow even muuuch more... My beloved Brandy was just the same - one of the biggest male dogs in town. Ah well... *sigh* She reminds me of him and is melting my heart...

I'm self taught as well (for the most part had some drawing lessons at school 15 years ago)
      Shading takes patience and practice
I often find myself looking at examples and I have a book on drawing. The book is especially handy on shading and textures.

And for the portrait I cheated a bit and used a blender

    Oh, this is inspirational!

I used to draw a lot when I was younger. You can almost say I did try making portraits of some of my characters still present today in Skyrim, as I used to sketch/draw many characters before I got hooked up by computer games. Sadly I don't know where those sketches are today, but this upload intrigues me to pick up the pencil again...

Good work here, Chris and also, my vacation starts tomorrow as well...but I suppose that means more Skyrim sets, not less!

If you pick up the pencil again, do share some of the results I only have a small amount of my drawings from 9 years ago. (Well I have all my drawings from lower school.... my mother saved these for me.... I was very much into sharks and pirate ships from the look of it )

I'm going to a theater festival for 1.5 weeks on a camping.... doubt I will have a lot of time and opportunity.

Ahh blue hair, one of my unfortunate phases. Saw the option in one of the new fire emblem games and thought "hey, blue hair would look great on everything".

No...it did not, Grayson sported a ridiculous blue comb-over for a while, as did my Shepard and any character who could get that hair color. Thankfully I came to my senses before starting my story thing.

Still though it can look good in the right style and setting, like here! Great drawings, and a puppy is always nice.

I remember the times when picking the worst possible hair colour in Skyrim..... and regretting it some hours later

      Thank you

    You are quite talented Chris!

I enjoy these shots greatly. I really like how you did the "sweet and innocent" version's eyes.

It's a lot of trying and sketching to see what works
