    I remember wanting to mod skyrim about two years ago but not having the setup or experience to do it. When I was listing all the mods I wanted if I ever did mod skyrim, this one was the number 1 mod that I always wanted to have and I'm excited for it to come out for SSE!

    I can't get enough of this sword, your work is incredible and getting better and better. The only thing I'd change are those small gems on the crossguard; they look a bit tacked on. If it were me I'd either remove them or integrate them in some way that complements the teardrop pommel shape. just my opinion, I don't have your skillset, just a good eye

      I kind of agree with that, but I think they make I nice triangle with the main gem that was present on the original design and I'd prefer to keep that.
      I'll think about it and see if i can make the crossguard fit more the teardrop pommel. It's probably that it ends in a very "squary" manner, contrasting with the rest of the shapes that are curves maybe i can come up with something more cohesive and elegant for the crossguard keeping the gems, thanks.

      Contrast is good too, it can give a piece balance. Having a fancy pommel and a fancy crossguard isn't always the best look. Maybe just giving the crossguard a subtle yet unique bevel and tapering the thickness, and if you want those gemstones, maybe make them a part of the shape, as if it was carved from the metal. But I definitely think you should keep it simple overall, while enhancing its cohesion and making it a bit more elegant. Looking forward to swinging it around!

      The original featured some inscriptions on the crossguard as well.
      Maybe they would help the gems fit better than just plain crossguard?

    I like most of the the changes (daedric inscriptions FTW) but the old pommel looks so much better.

      I actually hated the old pommel, not to be overly critical with my own stuff but it was a meh gemstone without internal facets held in place with four undefined "fingery" pieces extruding from the grip assembly because it otherwise looked as if it was going to fall any minute. Call it personal preference if you will. Not to sound bipolar but i love the new pommel.

      OTOH old pommel allowed you to see the stone from all directions while the new one has it completely embedded in thick metal and only visible from the side.

      I like practical looking magical weapons, but previous pommel gem mount wasn't too jarring in this regard and the stone itself already looked great and it was closer to the original.

    WOH the "old" one was already one of my favorite sword, but this one is just stunning ! I can't wait ! :O and I really hope we will see Umbra with the same quality as this beauty ! (since you teased it for the first time, I just want it :p)

    Anyway you are always doing an amazing job, keep going and take your time. And thank for your amazing works ! Yours mods will always be in my load order !
