Thanks! I really want to improve the forges somehow since they look pretty terrible right now with or without Embers HD, but I just haven't found a good solution yet.
I wasn't entirely happy about that pine myself so I don't think it will ever be released. It looked pretty good in Max but so-so in-game, so I need to spend more time in the modeling phase to make it look more natural + of course create variations of different age and condition. I'm hoping to eventually recreate a more realistic looking Scandinavian type forest, but we'll see, it might be a too ambitious goal for my skills. Glad you already like it, though, I appreciate the encouragement.
Maybe try speaking with the author of SFO and Ehanced Vanilla Trees. They might be able to help with setting up how you would make your mod a replacer and all that. And about the tree texture and meshes maybe try asking Renthal311. I'm sure he can help point you to the right direction.
