Oh man I so know what you mean here. I'm currently converting on my own Someguy2000's New Vegas Bounties series and other mods to work with the After War Nevada overhaul (where damage is similar to Fallout 1 and 2; a power armor might have 4 damage threshold and 40 damage resistance and 20 radiation, 20 poison, 20 energy etc, so all armors, most weapons and most monsters have to be changed accordign to this), and I don't know how many times I've just erased a custom trait on something instead of added to it, or even erased whole formlists when I just wanted to add in a new entry to put my shotgun or the like for a perk... gah. Then it's a matter of either rolling back somewhere if you have a nice backup as I've learned to keep, or quitting and see how many hours of work this sets you back, depending on the circumstances...
