About this image
Recently I've been tweaking the looks for my follower Alexa, she will soon have a story and I'll be writing the quests and scripts for it when the story is more complete. But for now I decided I would try to make her as pretty and unique as I could. So I played around with the face mesh after FaceGen created it, and I realized hmm, this is still a mesh, the game is still loading it as long as my plugin is a master. So what if instead of editing her head parts and making a new race for her just to give her a new face, why don't I just edit the mesh directly, and upscale the tint mask for high resolution face paints? Apparently that works, and it works awesome. I basically took a base tint map (Meaning only a few adjustments to the face like blush) then upscaled it, there wasn't any fine detail before upscaling, it was just so I COULD put higher resolution paints on. I ended up manually taking the lip tintmask from BellaGail's Better Females and masking that on manually through photoshop, did the same with the eyeliner. Then found a nice dragon brush I could use to mask onto the face, and added a beauty mark near the eye (Because they are HOT OK). Also if you're wondering if her eyes are glowing, yes, yes they are, they were meant to glow red, but since emissive color makes an entire shape glow I had to change the glow to white so the sclera didn't also turn red, if I wanted just the iris to glow I imagine I would need another shape attached that mimic'd the eyes movement and only had an alpha texture covering the iris.
