20th Sun's Height, 4E 201 (Sun's Rest)

I feel like this was the first spot of free time I've had in days. Each day since my arrival in Winterhold I've been passed from instructor to instructor--each ensuring that my foundation in the schools of magic was sound--before finding myself in Colette's quarters being drilled through wards until I felt drained. I don't mean to make her sound a taskmaster, but I'm seemingly the only one here with whom she can share her passion for Restoration. Luckily even she took the time to relax on Sun's Rest, which grants me time to reflect.

I spent a large portion of the day fixated on the shrine to Julianos that the mages kept in their Arcanaeum. After Mirmulnir, coming here in lieu of answering the Greybeards' call had felt more than irresponsible, as if I were shirking an obligation I had to the world itself. My duty has and always will be to the Elder Scrolls first, however, and I must stay the course. The Prophecy was said to have been found in the Scrolls, after all. The knowledge needed to defeat the World-Eater may be found within them yet.
