About this image
During a small skirmish on the outskirts of Solitude between an Imperial patrol and a small group of bandits, an Imperial soldier is badly wounded by an arrow, not to the knee, but to the upper torso. As he is clawing at the ground, trying to regain his feet, a bandit, battle axe in hand, closes for the kill. Suddenly, out of the tree-line screams another arrow, though this one was not fired by the bandit archer. The arrow in question was fired by an unidentified individual the Legionnaire is to this day wishing to thank for saving his life. It struck the bandit in the armpit piercing her heart and killing her almost instantly, before she could deliver the final blow. The rest of the bandits were either killed or retreated back into the foothills, and the wounded Legionnaire was quickly returned to Solitude where he is now recuperating in Castle Dour's barracks.
