You know, I've often wished there was an "Image of the Month" feature, like the mod File of the Month that we vote on...
So glad you liked the main shot as it is truly one of my all time favorites of Grim. It captures everything I love about him - his strength, athleticism, power, primal and animal like nature, grace, all somewhat restrained and ready to be let loose.
The main pic is absolutely fantastic, cause it has a very visible 3D effect.
Gives me the feeling, Grim will give me his hand.

I don`t understand, why there is so much sweat on Grims back...is it sooo hot ?
May be he had a training with a shadow and his sword...

It represents the coating of natural oil that keeps him warm in extreme cold temperatures (as I outlined in my notes):
Grim also excretes a microscopic (think nano-biological) film of oil that protects his skin from the cold. The colder the weather the thicker and denser this covering. It has a slight woodsy pine smell to it and is merged in with the skin so it does not come off – but Erik says it does make his skin incredibly soft and smooth to the touch, almost like touching someone who recently put on a fine hand lotion. With this protection Grim can stand in freezing snow or water with very little discomfort.
He is also doing a lot of exercise - running, martial arts, stretching, mediation - all part of the ritual. It is meant to show physical endurance as well as prowess.
