Nice job with the images of Faolin against the wall eavesdropping - those were well done and enjoyed them as they really fit into the text well. Faolin also looks very handsome without that helmet ... and that says a lot as normally I prefer short hair on men.
So Sigyn seems to be the most clouded of the three - being the most clueless to everything that is happening. I think that could be a mix of Despair and her own ... well over-confidence and sense that she is is usually right. Lubis is confused and muddled but seems like she knows something is odd about her own behavior even if she doesn't understand why. Faolin, perhaps because of his connections, is more clear headed ... or perhaps Despair just hasn't bothered with him so far.

Took a little bit to get Faolin to cooperate into taking those shots lol. It was good to finally remove that stuffy helmet of his and show his face for once ! Hehe glad you think he's handsome ! :-) ahh his hair not that long if compared to Talian's haha.
Sigyn is really the most obvious to what is going on...her judgement and mind being clouded by both Despair and herself...over-confidence is not always a good thing as it often turns into pure arrogance. It's like putting them all into lukewarm water..and slowly raising the temperature...they won't realize the water is getting boiling hot until it's too late.....Lubis is starting to realize that something is wrong with her own behavior..but cannot explain why. As for Faolin, he managed to go unnoticed by Despair until now..leaving him free of her influence...why he's the most clear headed of the group. Despair might not bother with him at all...who knows...he might prove useful to her...

I love how despair see's the turn of events, even though not as she initialy planned are now even more to her liking
And while Faolin and the others minds seem clearer now, just wait until despair bends her will on them again!!

Their minds might be clearer..but that is just the calm before the storm..As Despair is ready to make her actual entrance into play..to step out of the shadows and show herself.
I'm quite surprised that Despair actually attracted a little Fan club..then again it's Silke we are talking about so i shouldn't be surprise she's actualy cheering for Despair

I can understand it being a shock for Faolin to hear the things he is accused of, that scheming Aenar's plan having made it seemingly impossible for him to explain himself. I do hope he finds some evidence that can help him, to make the others see how false those words they speak about him really are. Despair does seem to be enjoying her work, standing in the shadows, her dark influence wandering the gloom like the strings of a dark puppeteer. You really create a sense of danger even in those quiet moments of the tale. An intriguing chapter, Mylène
Aenar's plan indeed made it nearly impossible for him to prove his innocence to the others. It'd be his words against the others and well, by now his voice hardly counts for anything to the others. He'll need solid evidence to help him get out of that situation. Despair is indeed enjoying how events are turning out, she feeds off others suffering and misery..and there is alot of it going on.

I admit, I've missed siblings tales, especially when apparently soon they will face very dangerous and dark times, since Despair continues to plan her insidious plot. It was very interesting to see this chapter from Faolin's point of view. He is doing great job masquerading as a guard... luckily for him, all Stormcloak guards in Skyrim closed helmets, or Sigyn would have spotted him right away and things could turn ugly. Seems like Faolin knows Lubis and her antics very well, and he was right to have doubts about her suicide attempts and reasons behind it... Sigyn sadly doesn't pay too much attention to these little details.
Sigyn also is very determined to make her sister leave the city, but the reason of Lubis's fears towards upcoming journey sure has shocked Faolin! He was framed and thankfully now he knows it. it is very sad too that Lubis, Sigyn and Faolin are so sure that Nadja, Aenar and Talian... sure it was the last ting Faolin expected to hear! He will most likely try to investigate that, while two sisters will go on separate ways...
Despair's look of joyful glee by the end of this chapter is very insidious for it seems she had a lot of nasty things planned for both Faolin and Sigyn! i will look forward for continuation and tank you for sharing our wonderful work!
Lubis said she wanted to leave and now Sigyn is very determined into making it happen, as she doesn't want to put up with an other attempt like the previous..even if it's very unlikely. It was great shock for Faolin to just learn how much he stand accused of..while he might be guilty of many things, to his family he's only guilty of breaking his promise to Sigyn and stabbing her. It sure wasn't something he expected nor he wanted to hear, that they believe he murdered Nadja,Talian and Aenar and that he's supposedly out to get them both.
Despair is very much satisfied at how everything is going according to plan even the unexpected is working in her favor !..and she can only have very nasty things planned for the twins...
