Alduin wants to watch himself - his showing off might one day draw the ire of the EC...
Glad you liked this fluffy episode.
Eh, Liche never would give up that easy you know!
Beautiful shots ....... damn your girls look fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ancano is looking old...... hard life lol.......... or just fear from the boot steps behind him...... he better go change bet he wet his pants lmao..........
Thanks for enduring the fluff hon. Glad you liked!
Thanks Kai!!!
Nice bit with DD and Ripp, too. (Though DD seems to have been stricken with the dreaded Gray Face Disease for part of it.)
Nicely done, aok!
Big-mouthed Ancano starts braying to his sweet sis as soon as she shows up, about "that mad man Liche"....and speak of the devil....guess who's standing RIGHT behind him as he shoots off his yap??
Brilliant!
I got a good laugh at that!
Can that idiot ever at least TRY to keep his big foot out of his equally big mouth? ^^
Sometimes I wonder....^^
Some much-needed good wisdom, comfort and reassurance from D.D. to his lovely but fearful and shaken daughter; she needed that consolation to mitigate her distress....a good Father indeed is he.
WTF was "Arrogant Ass-trid" thinking when she accepted that contract?!
Are her brains actually located in her lovely and shapely @ss or something?
She doesn't strike me as the suicidal type....but just like another certain thick-skulled b1#ch: Queen-Regent Cersei of GoT, she's clearly not nearly as smart as she thinks she is....and that bodes VERY ill for her, especially if she foolishly messes with anyone from the E.C.
That was just plain DUMB on her part, and even dumber is the (as yet unknown) fool(s) who tendered that contract in the first place!
May the Gods have mercy upon the souls of the E.C's enemies, for the E.C. most certainly will NOT!
(To paraphrase General George Patton)
In the last shot, Ravishing Ripp looks a bit uncertain as she ponders the "agreement" with "Big Al"....might she be having some sober second thoughts about dealing with the World-Eater? ^^
Endorsed.
Many thanks and hearty cheers, dude!
Ancano just doesn't know when to shut up does he?
Thanks for your ALWAYS epic reply my friend!
Cheers!
Great chapter Arnold and some superb images as well!
Yes, Astrid made a poor choice in accepting that contract. One may say the consequences could be " Dire "
***CRACK***
Ouch!!!
Well, the reaction of Death Dealer did not surprise... by attacking Ripp Astrid practically begs to be destroyed and I doubt that there will be survivors! Also Ripp did surprise me... with her crying, it seems that her physical wounds were nothing compared to her emotional ones. Death Dealer showed himself a great father, trying to soothe her worries and giving her very important and valuable lesson about learning from mistakes. this was very heartwarming and endearing!
Ripp certainly should not give up because of one mistake... how may times she made her father proud? One mistake certainly not ruin all her past accomplishments and her future ones too!
So now the Evil Company is up to new adventures and of course a lot of carnage! Alduin showed himself as show off... but I ma not surprised. i still don't trust him a bit!
It was very cool to see Arcela again... and Ancano might be into some trouble! But he proved to be a survivor so maybe Liche won't roast him for his rudeness!
Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful work and I will look forward for continuation!
I think the pressure of leading the Company was too much with her Father their. She was trying too hard. I think leading the smaller group without her Mother and Father present she will lead more naturally and do much better.
Thank you for your continued support and inspiration my friend!!!
Personally I think you must have fluff stories. If everyone is action packed then you became used to it and they can loose some of the impact (a problem I have with some games that lack balance between constant combat and intensity with down time). It gives the reader a chance to also chill with the characters and learn a little more about them. Hence you had a chance to show some emotional depth to DD and Ripp, which is important as they are seen as evil yet it shows it is relative to the person making that claim. Among themselves they are loyal and loving just like those "humans" always out to kill them.
So Ancano - hope he had some diapers on as he is going to need them after that little show-stopper. Loved how you handled having Liche show back up. Ouch that is going to be some kind of awkward reunion between the two of them. You handled that perfectly ... you are in great form lately Arnold and have to say I am really looking forward to what will be coming from you next!
Yes, this was some essential "fluff" and I'm happy you enjoyed the insight into their "family" side. I liked showing the "human" side of these anti hero's.
Heh, poor Ancano, he was just starting to recover after the failure of their attempt on the "White Demon"
