I was fighting a regular Ancient Dragon when he suddenly did some sort of weird transformation while hovering that looked similar to the "Absorb Dragon Soul" effect(maybe it was). Now, he's a skeleton but still acting like the dragon he was before! I had no dragon-related mods active when this happened and I could find no similar incidents on Google. I'm still wondering if this was a glitch or not, but it was really cool! Edit: Another Google search reveals that this has happened to others and it seems, most of the time, the Dragon is unkillable and sometimes invisible. The first time it happened to me, it was killable. I tried to get it to happen again from the same saved game and this time it transformed while on the ground. After that, it stayed on the ground and was unkillable. The third time I tried, it died normally. So it would seem that if it transforms while in the air, it can fly when it's a skeleton.
