A wonderful broody and dark bunch of characters. Some of these I knew and a few I had not seen before. I agree with Nataly in that you have an amazing ability to dream up very cool back stories and characters. There is a great deal of creativity there. It resonates well with me - when I make a character I often write up pages of back story and often the only one who ever sees that story is only me. I suspect you are much the same way. Of course Nexus opened my eyes to a way of sharing those stories with others which makes me happy for some reason - although I still make elaborate back stories that I never post. Not sure why since no one will ever see them ... guess because writing them just helps solidify there existence. As if writing them on paper makes them less transient than just being in my head.
I don't know what your child hood was like but I know mine was often spent alone and I would spend hours and hours out in the woods creating my own worlds with just nature for company. When not doing that I read voraciously, 2-3 books a week was not uncommon for me.
Lol sorry very off-topic in some of my comments lately. I seem to be in a weird mood tonight. Lovely collection of profiles Jess and thanks for bringing back some memories even if that was not your intention.
I used to write a lot too in my childhood; I often felt closer to my character than my friends. I also did a lot of acting which really is a RL version of gaming. I guess you could say in one way or another i've always lived in my head. Probably explains a lot huh? And yes, massive reader. And dark stuff too; my friends were all reading The babysitter's Club books while I was knee deep into Stephen King (no wonder I give my characters a hard time).
Anyway, Glad you're enjoying the Cacophony. The next part is the final and shows off some of my favourite characters. Plus i'm working on someone new that I hope you'll like... very Daedric focused...
It is cool to see Lilah and Greil, they are very unusual duo, since vampires and werewolves usually hate and despise each other. And even if there won't be story about them, it will be very nice to see then on images.
And I am so happy to finally learn Natharis Araarian story! You are right, his story was never published or even mentioned, yet seeing this charismatic man and his lovely lady has sure picked up my curiosity and it is very cool to discover how they met. Certainly their meeting wasn't ordinary,. as well as they are unusual by themselves!
I still remember Nevayne Dren story very well, he sure had a lot of darkness in his past and I've always hoped that his new way of atonement might bring him some peace. Good to know that even after such misery and sorrow he developed tender feelings for headstrong and fierce Sigrytte. They, along with Az and Kyra could sure make a formidable team!
I also remember very well about Araenriel ir Rae Nauro, there is only one story about her and it is enough to be sure that she is awesome at her work to become a legend among mercenaries. and it was very interesting to learn about her private life too...
I will be looking forward for the next part and thank you very much for sharing your wonderful work!
I hope by doing this little collation that I'm tidying up a few loose ends. Plus it's nice for me to see some old faces again. Especially as I, about to introduce ANOTHER new face soon
Shoot me.
Hehehe. Thanks hon!
Cheers dear one.
Thanks sweetie!
