Here's an in-game shot from the first test run of the textures. The helmet and bracers are still vanilla, they'll be done later. Just a few more details to add and the female set is next (kinda dreading having to start from scratch again...)
Looks better in-game that I though it would. There's some warping here and there with some animations, but there's not much can be done about that.
As of this image, normal maps and specular maps are now in place, and I'll be trying out some custom cubemaps next to give it a bit of a shine.
And of course, opinions are welcomed.
Unfortunately, work has been suspended on this project indefinitely. Sadly there are no longer plans to release these textures for the foreseeable future.

By any chance, do you have an estimated date of release, if so, when?
