Fantastic. I love it how she didn't realise the kid was a... well... a kid, until she came face to face with him. Then her awkwardness, so in tune with earlier posts, was very nice to see.
A wonderful character you have here. Not just some "Munchkin" assassin but a beautifully thought out character with interesting traits and flaws as well as skills that tie so realistically to her new line of work.
I remember hearing recently that the difference between fiction and real-life is that fiction has to make sense.
Your fictions are so wonderfully written that they always seem to make perfect sense.
Top stuff, thanks for all the great work, it's tremendous fun to read these tales

Thank you, dear! Too bad she had an accident, right? But I'm glad she did. I didn't want to doll her up too much

Such a wonderfully woven glimpse at her beginnings, Kayol, leaving the reassuring whisper of the tree branches in the breeze, those tree shadows among which one could take shelter, that familiar sound of wandering animals, entering the dark walls of the city, its smells so different than she was used to. One can find all kinds of sorts in the warmth of an inn, some quite intimidating it seems, searching for one to test their skills between drinks. With her keen ears honed by hunting she could learn much of the city. Really like the way you described how she was drawn to the mystery of the cursed Aretino, that excitement as she picked her first lock. The comparisons between the the assassin and the hunter were wonderful ^_^

Your comments are always so poetic, my dear...
Thank you, as always, for your feedback! I'm glad you liked that little comparison I made - as you know, for me an assasin and a hunter are similar in some ways.

Fantastic new tale, so wonderfully written! It is great to see the beginning, Saga when she just arrived from her isolated life in the woods to face harsh and cold Windhelm in all its glory. Her choice of job is a dangerous and risky one but she looks like she is ready to face the world challenges, and Saga sure did worship Hircine at that time, judging from her thoughts. it will be very interesting to know how she changed her loyalty and most importantly how she has gotten her eyepatch...
Awesome shots too, very expressive, atmospheric and beautiful! Saga looks stunning, I like her younger look too, she looks very lovely, though slightly overwhelmed by big city that is Windhelm. Superb work, thank you very much for sharing it!

Thank you ever so much for reading!
Yes, it seemed only logical to me that she worshipped Hircine - just like her grandmother, mind you. As I wrote before, Saga is really emotional and her choices are usually made out of excitement, fear or anger. She's not the most logical person, I admit
