I like any idea that brings (or restores) more lore to Skyrim, such as this. Thank you greatly and cheers, Watcherzero!

Just a quick thought on the Escutcheon of Chorrol:
During the Aldmeri Dominion's siege of Chorrol, If it was there at the time, I imagine it might have seen some serious and horrific action, so it stands to reason that it would look quite beat-up and a bit rusty, especially after 200+ years of neglect......
