This is another work in progress on the Issgard guard's armor , heavy version ...

The main idea is to make a heavy version of this one with the plates added and a lighter version of sole chainmail and sleeveless possibly ...

Other variation may add lamellar and scales,

helmet variation will include facemask of chainmail , viking style helmet visors etc ...

This is another post temporary for collecting opinions , ideas , sugestions and general comments on this work in progress....

    When do you estimate this will become available? Because this looks flipping amazing. It's surprisingly hard to find a really good medieval looking armor like this.

    Yes the idea for the hoods is to have severall version :

    1 only hood
    2 hood and helmet with facemask eyeslit
    3 hood and helmet with facemask eyeslit full mask
    4 hood and helmet and facemask eyeslit with chainmail facemask cover

    the light version shoudl have no shoulderpads , no greaves , and no sleeves ...

    optional add ons are boots, gauntlets and heavy fur cape ...

    You should make the chainmail hood on the heavy version have a mask, and the light version be open like in the picture.

    Personally I love it! My only suggestions may be to have a version maybe without the square pieces on the chest and without pauldrons, but with everything else shown. Though I still think they look good anyways don't get me wrong. It's nice to see an armor with a real chainmail hood too. Nice work!

    It ticks all my boxes,suggestions would be perhaps an insignia of the region they represent nothing more.
