Skyrim

PCEAr now has a brand new banner and a demo video. Yes, I'm committing myself to developing it.

Version 1.5.0 is underway. By itself it's a minor update that redirects Radiant Raiment's Fine Clothes, joining the merry band of Nightingale, Guildmaster and Party outfits. But it also has exciting new features planned for it. Read on for more.

1. PCEAr's very own smelting mod
All this time I've been using a modified version of Val's Crafting Meltdown for all my smelting needs. It does its job, but I figure it's time I do something about it, so I'm creating a smelting mod to deal with this issue. A no-nonsense smelting mod that adds one and only one record: COBJ. No strings attached.

It features "Equip Guard" logic. Put simply, when this feature is enabled, items you're currently equipping will not be smelted. So, if you have 2 Steel Shields and is currently equipping one, you can only smelt the one you're not currently equipping. This protects you from accidentally getting too trigger happy and smelt your favorite, super-tempered hyper-enchanted equipment in the process. Of course, you can disable this feature if you want to

Unfortunately, it's impossible to detect whether an item for smelting is enchanted or not, so if you have a custom enchanted equipment amongst the generic items, you'll need to be careful, unless you equip them.

This mod will require PCEAr version 1.5 or later to work.

2. MCM support
I'm going to add MCM support for PCEAr. While by itself PCEAr is simply very simple and doesn't warrant an MCM menu, I have plans for PCEAr.

For first appearance, MCM menu will simply allow organized configuration.

Once MCM support is added, the configuration spells will be phased out in favor of MCM menu. The older versions will also be deleted to make sure everybody is on the same wagon.
