it's a great pleasure for me to announce the new update of steel plate retexture.
result on first release was pretty good in my humble opinion, still there was something not particularry convincing me:
envmask and reflection was sometimes too strong,particularry on certain enb settings, color maybe too bright,
some little design and engravings a bit inconsistent ...in other words there was still some work to do.
redoing the whole set from scratch has been a quick decision...the choice this time has been to focus on a more damaged
and worn look. bring down brightness and reflections, add more rust and scratches,give kinda feeling of ancient steel.
an "hardcore" 4k version will be probably added too... i'm still trying to decide if the extensive memory usage of a "super resolution" is worth in terms of quality....testing.
talking about tests i'll never thank enough the friends who tested this work,actually showing me what good and what not good
there was in the work in progress, helping me to fix mistakes and giving me anykind of support.
to see if i get good results at the end of the day is clearly up to mod users now
once again i have to remind anyone is using the book of silence mod to OVERRIDE book's files with new steelplate ones
book of silence update is talking as usual more than expected, due to the various stuff i'm adding, please...some more patience,
we are close to something very usefull and ,again in my humble opinion,quite impressive...
