Skyrim

I'm thinking about doing some work on Followers can Relax in the next few months and I would like to know how many followers most of you use. Right now this mod will support a maximum of 100, but I want to cut that number down to something more reasonable. Just comment with the number you use and it will be very much appreciated. I'm thinking 15 - 20 right now. Should be more than reasonable right?

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I will plan on doing 15-20 then. For those that still want huge numbers, I will not be taking down any of the older or current versions of my mod.

I’m not going to say at the moment what I’m planning just because I don’t know if it will work or not.

I personally adventure with between 1-5 followers. (Vilja, Thaiden, Atvir Dres, Cerwiden, Odvar The Afflicted (yes all custom voiced companions!), and perhaps a pet.

Keep in mind to that many a player will sooner or later be colonizing castles/estates/villages (myself being one of them) And would like the largest support available, and on that note i differ to this logic, we wouldn't be modding Skyrim if we were happy with its limits. Cap it at 5 requests will be made for 10, cap at 10 requests will be made for 20, and so on, tis all about pushing the limits!

So far, I only have two, if dogs count. Three is what I go for, since I don't need an army to kill al the difficulty, I'm too picky about choosing who'll fight by my side, to Oblivion and back, and just 'cause three is a good number.

Hi KingCoin! I've been using Followers Can Relax for over 50 levels now and several hundred hours very smoothly, thanks a lot for that! All the time, I've been using it along with Amazing Follower Tweaks (5 followers max). But most of the time, I run around with 2 or 3, not more, or else they tend to get in the way in interior cells. So 15-20 is way more than enough for me.
Even though AFT has a feature fairly similar to FCR ("dismissed but stay here"), I prefer to use Followers Can Relax for this as I find it more immersive plus they keep on interacting with their environment for as long as you want whereas with AFT's version of it, after a few minutes they will stop interacting and just stand there waiting.
Followers Can Relax, like AFT, are the 2 mods I really could not play without now - they completely changed my game experience, so a million thanks again for your amazing work!..
Just out of curiosity, what new features do you have in mind? (Can't wait!..)
    Cheers from Paris :0)

I normally never travel with more than three followers in my adventures. Anything more than that starts to look a bit awkward after a while
I use UFO, and I believe it's capped at 15, and honestly I think it's a HUGE cap for Followercount.
No reason to work on a support for more than 15 followers in my opinion.

I never take it to over 10.

    That's fair enough for me.

Currently I have 40'ish but plan on expanding.
I like collecting them and stashing them in homes.

I've had up to eight followers at once, all of them doing different tasks. The maximum should probably be around ten or fifteen.

15 to 20 is a safe enough range. I have had as many a 10 on a play through, but not all following at once. I'd 'park' followers in different homes and really use 2 or rarely 3, depending on my next task/quest. With the growth in game add-ons/dlc , I think you're future proof at the numbers you're thinking.
