Attack speed fix:
Some of you might know that Skyrim have a bug that creates abnormal attack speed (either too fast or too slow), this is fixed by Attack Speed Framework or Requiem. This fix was incorporated into Engarde with a simpler and more performance friendly way, however, if you already have a the speed fix either by itself or comes with another mod, please remember to tick this off.
Enhanced normal attack and controls:
enables various tweaks to normal attack, such as adjusting the damage, adding stamina requirements, making two hand weapon sweeping.
- Include Dual Wield tweaks: dual wield blocking, and alternating right and left hand attacks when dual wielding.
- Include Unarmed tweaks: makes it so that when both hand is unarmed, controls works in the same way as dual wielding. Note that you must install your own unarmed blocking animations such as Unarmed Block Animation
Enhanced power attack and controls:
enables executing power attack with a dedicated key, various special effects when performing power attacks such as two hand power attack slow time, one hand power attack invincible time frames (side and back), injury by side power attack.
- Power attack cooldown: the seconds it takes to power attack again, two handers have twice this value.
Player's power attack damage multiplier:
This is for people who enjoy using the newer multi-hit power attack animations by Orakin or mofu but still want to keep the game balanced. While the new animatons are cool looking, they kind of makes power attack an instant "I win" button. With this feature, now you can tweak the damage per hit to your liking, only effects the players since most people will be using these custom animations for the player only
- Forward: multiplies the forward power attack damage
- Side: multiplies the side power attack damage
Dodge and power block with the sneak key:
Engarde added two defensive actions for the player, one is dodge, it offers short invincibility, escapes out of stagger, as well as putting out any fire on the player. Second is power block, it offers stagger immunity, and reduces incoming fire damage. Engarde maps both of these actions to the sneak key.
- Heavy armor dodge animation: lets you pick either step dodge or roll dodge while wearing heavy armor
- Light armor dodge animation: lets you pick either step dodge or roll dodge while wearing light armor
Use sprint key to toggle sneak:
With the sneak key dedicated to defensive actions, players needs a new key to toggle sneak. Engarde merge that functionality into sprint key.
Forward + sprint = sprinting
Any other direction + sprint = toggle sneak
Stagger on hit mechanic:
Engarde make weapon hits to cause stagger on weapon hits to improve the impact and feel of attacks. Different weapon stagger different amount.
- Stagger on melee weapon hits, bigger weapon, longer stagger
- Stagger on bow/crossbow hits, bow causes same amount of stagger as swords, crossbows causes same amount of stagger as greatswords
- Stagger on weapon crits, causes a large stagger when melee weapon makes a critical hit. (does not work on players)
Stamina:
Various stamina related settings:
- Stamina regen penalty applied when running with weapons drawn: defaults 300 makes it so that stamina regen is disabled while running with weapons out.
- Minimum stamina to attack: defaults to 5, sets a minimum amount of stamina required to make any weapon attacks
- Minimum stamina to dodge: defaults to 0, optionally sets a minimum amount of stamina required to dodge
Various npc related settings:
- Can not perform kill move on player: prevents dragons and NPCs from performing kill move on player
- Low stamina slows down movement and attack speed / causes recuperation: Humanoid NPC will attack and move slower as they run out of stamina, and will attempt to recuperate their stamina when they get a chance.
- NPC dodging: humanoid npc will try to dodge player's attacks, the slower the attack, the more likely it'll be dodged.
- First normal attack in a combo have windup: NPC's normal attacks have a windup, briefly slowing down their initial attack so that players have time to react
- Turning acceleration: as it says, the higher this is, the longer it takes for the enemy to turn to face you
- Unarmed / Creature physical attack damage multiplier: multiplies the damage mob do, If using Requiem or another damage increasing mods, then set to 1
- Adds bonus armor to armored looking creatures: vanilla Skyrim creatures have no armor, this options adds bonus armor to several creatures that look like they should have armor: dragons, dwarven centurions, etc.
- Enhanced Werewolves / Giants / Dragons: please see videos for full list of changes
Movements:
- Attack commitment makes NPC and player unable to track target so well once commited to the swing.
- Patch in combat movement speed: tweaks movement speed. Affects both player and NPC. The value listed is a base value, forward movement gets a bonus.
Item:
Adjusts weapon's damage, crit damage, reach, and speed.
Combat Focus:
Combat focus will triggers a slow time effect whenever the player is shot with an arrow or attacked by a power attack (before the attack hits, of-course). This section allow the user to tweaks the speed of the world, the speed of the player, and the duration of the slow time.

Are these options also available in the mcm?
Cheers!
Meaning if you want to change you have to repatch. So after some testing, take good note of your favorite settings ;-)
