Hey folks,
been a long time. Been flooded by emails asking for the rights to port mods I've worked on, over to SSE. I thought I made myself clear in all of the specific mods description. All of the content I worked on, always was, and always will be open source. You're pretty much allowed to do with it as you please.
However, there's an exception to this rule, when mod content of other users is integrated. I can't give you any rights on their content, even if I want to. Not only is it not my content I originally created. There's also the problem that a considerable amount of people, has no longer presence in modding Skyrim. I could tell you you're probably ok with just porting their stuff as well, but you'd do this at your own risk, because when asked, I'd ever granted you access to their content to begin with. And third, some content was "hack integrated" without access to source, which complicates things, if you're planing on expanding certain features.
However, out of decency I just might add the names of persons you should contact, if you feel unsafe in porting their content without being allowed to. At least you could then argue you tried, and remove their content whenever they ask you to. I'm only refering to Skyrim mods here, as mods for other games only uses content I worked on. Those users are:
Chesko for placement code in CUYC
JustinOther which coded some content of CUYC, in particular some bugs I wasn't capable of squishing
SKSE team for access to SKSE and diverse other source over on Github, which I used in Widget and Follower Mod
LordConti2 for access on SKSE source code based on his journal mod over on Github, which I used on Widget and Follower Mod
Perseid9 for access to his original source files of RNAD
MannyGT for access to some of his modified fountain meshes
I'm aware that all of them above aren't very critical when it comes to the usage of their content. But you'd still want to contact them out of respect, and if it's just to show your gratitude and respect.
So by the love of God...do with the files as you please. All work on your side, is less work on my side, and I would never consider this a problem. All I might ask in future, might be complete access to the content you've created to expand on the given mods, and if you're opted in the rewards system, please make sure to share at least 30% for donation (5% on all 6). You can keep the rest of the 70% share for yourself.
Greetings

P.S. here is a link (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/23604) to the ported version of your mod. I have given you edit and admin rights to it. In case you ever wish to edit or do something with the mod.[ :D
Thanks for releasing this article. I really wanted to port your widget mod and maybe I misunderstood in the description about bringing stuff over. Thanks for clarifying this here. I will be happy to reinstall the widget mod and make sure everything works and bring it over. Hope all is well.
