THE RITUAL OF INVOCATION
"The Ritual of Invocation" book can be found at the entrance of the home alongside a "Blank Spelltome".
This allows you to craft a unique spell book at the altar of Molag Bal to summon a dremora servant that works as any vanilla follower.
Depending on the items you use when crafting the book, you get to choose:
- The Gender of the Dremora.
Female - Raynia
Male - Vaexar
- The Trade: Warrior, Mage or Archer.
Each has specific: Class, combat style, spells, perks.
The Warrior type specializes in: Block, Heavy Armor, One-Handed, Two-Handed.
The Mage type specializes in: Destruction, Restoration, Alteration, Illusion.
The Archer type specializes in: Archery, Light Armor, One-Handed, Sneak.
- All types have the "Lightfoot" perk to avoid traps.
- They level with you indefinitely (otherwise they become obsolete after a while)
- Are essential.
- They use vanilla voicetypes to benefit from mods like:

- They use the vanilla follower framework
(This makes them compatible with ALL follower management mods)
- They spawn unarmed and wearing just a robe of invocation so have something to give them prepared.
- They are not following you when first summoned you need to ask them to follow but this is intended.
(Possible uses: Leave them guarding a place, leave them in coldharbour to make the place more lively, etc)
(If dismissed they will remain where you left them but always appear when summoned)
- There is only 1 unique "Blank SpellTome", you are supposed to have just one dremora servant, if you use
console commands to spawn more and something doesn't work, I can't help you.
- Yes the Horns on the Dremora clip through helmets, sometimes that looks great sometimes it looks weird,
I like it because it makes no sense the horns disappear when they use a helmet.
