Skyrim

Just To-Do listing the mods that are in need of compatibility patches for Holds.
Feel free to post your ideas so we can add more mods on the list.

  • Requiem
We need information from Requiem players so we can start making a patch for it. What would be a problem if you run Holds and Requiem at the same time?
  • Enhanced Landscapes
We could use a helping hand on making Enhanced Landscapes Patch for Holds!

  • Immersive Citizens - Full
I believe this patch would take a lot of work to make, but it's possible.

  • Colorful Magic
I may have overheard that this mod adds a merchant in Winterhold and some enemies all across Skyrim. In that case we'd definitely need a patch for this one.

  • Enhanced Interiors

  • Open Cities
It's going to be a lot of work and most likely will cause a lot of compatibility issues with our other compatibility patches. Also it is unlikely that we'll figure out how to let you go through the gates of Dawnstar and Falkreath seamlessly in a way that doesn't affect performance. So I suspect that even with Open Cities Patch, the towns of Dawnstar, Falkreath, and Solitude Docks wouldn't be moved from their own Worldspaces.

Requiem de-levels the world and therefor the all of the people that appear in and around towns and makes sure they have the proper perks since perks are king in Requiem (your level in a skill can only matter if you select the correct perks, having no perks makes you useless as most things, etc.). It also makes a merchant's current inventory available in a master-locked chest inside the shop, their gold you see in the buy/sell window included (however, I don't think this is dynamic, that is, emptying their cash via selling doesn't affect the chest, its a set amount based on their default gold reserve when they reset). Guards are also made more diverse in skill setup and equipment load-out.

This is just off the top of my head and I also may not realize many other things it does to cities (sometimes it's hard to realize which mod is doing exactly what when your using most mods on the 1.9.4 Patch Central).

Basically, Requiem tries to make the game more believable and I suppose more 'old school' (a merchants inventory being accessible in a protected chest makes more sense than existing solely in a UI window, for example).

A good place for a start might be looking into ETaC's Requiem patch, as well as the Requiem patch for Interesting NPCs (3rd party 'NRM Requiem Patches'). Maybe also the 'Classic Lichdom' Requiem patch (available CL's mod page) that also applies to 'Immersive Lichdom' and the mod they both patch, 'Undeath' (that is, Undeath/Immersive Lichdom/Classic Lichdom are all patched for Requiem by Classic Lichdom's Requiem patch).

And of course, you can see what assistance the Requiem 'dungeon masters' would be willing to give.
