Skyrim

Scoped Bows 2.0

This update brings many small changes to make the sights look more "solid" and "realistic" while also improving the usability. It also fixes many small mesh, texture and uv-map errors. Most of those changes are only noticeable in direct comparison. take the pictures of the hunting bow below as an example

The stats of each bow have been rebalanced.
They damage stats where completely off in previous versions (dwarven did 5 points more damage than normal, daedric 1, hunting 3...ect.) Now they are all doing just one symbolic damage point more than the vanilla counterpart and have a reasonable value.

I leave the details for the Change Log

Just let me tell you this:
I took version 1.6 and fixed, improved, changed everything that felt wrong, added a FOMod installer and included many more options than you ever had before!

here are comparison shots showing the Hunting Bow v1.6 vs v2.0

v1.6: thin lens frame, thin crosshair

Click on the pictures to see them big!

v2.0: lens frame thickness increased, reticle improved

just wondering since i haven't played skyrim in a while, but have you yet or are you planning on removing the steel smithing requirement for the improved wooden bow?

because logically it wouldn't take nearly as much skill to slap a bent nail onto a bow as it would to measure out and intricately smith a perfect circle like the hunting bow requires. and some beginner dragonborn two steps out of helgen isn't gonna have the steel perk yet. seems kinda wasteful to restrict the improved wooden bow until you're at the point that you can get something better..

but then again maybe you already fixed this and i didn't know since i've been stuck at a job everyday for the last month... but yeah lemme know if that's ever crossed the drawing board.

Thanks for reporting this issue. I would have never realized it. It has been fixed in version 2.1.
