Hunting in Skyrim - Animal Trapping
Animal Trapping is the next major feature for Hunting in Skyrim, and I've been working on it for about a year on and off. It's taken a long time to ensure it's stable, safe, reliable, and dynamic.
It is currently available to try out in the version 1.3.7 Beta update, to allow the community to try it out, find the bugs, and offer suggestions on more ways to make it fun.
The basic idea of it is setting up animal traps to lure animals, and the animals available depends on the bait you use and the region you are in. There are roughly 150 items in Skyrim, various food and ingredients, that you can use to trap animals. Specific animals can be trapped like Deer and Rabbits, as can groups such as Predators.
Across Skyrim there are 10 regions set up from Pine Forests, Tundra, Coast, Blackreach, and more. Through scripting, regions in Solstheim (Dragonborn DLC), Falskaar and Wyrmstooth are also mapped out. As they're set up in script you don't need those files to use Hunting in Skyrim.
Feel free to try out the Beta and let me know your thoughts! You can reach me on the mod comments pages, the YouTube comments, on Twitter @B1gBadDaddy, or Google Plus +RichardWebster85.

Its quite sad as i was looking forward to using the traps.
Otherwise im enjoying the mod (I am also using http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69306/? which is really great with immersion adding many more cooking and meat variants ) other than this small bug i am happy.
I forgot to mention the trap instantly closes when placed also. Are there any other mods i need? im using some of the mods you recommended and have all the dlc
