Skyrim

Thanks to your suggestions and comments, Cerwiden has grown significantly in the three months since she first wandered into Riverwood, not only in terms of her flexibility and configuration as a healer/mage, but with her own personality. Version 1.7 of Ceri includes the next installment of her background/backstory quest, and you'll learn why she's in Skyrim, and choose to help her (or not) on her mission. This quest installment includes many new, fully-voiced dialogue lines for Ceri, as well as some new banter lines, plus new, fully-voiced allies and enemies to meet during your travels.

This quest installment is intended for players at a minimum level of 25 (ideal range is 25-45); some of the opponents you'll face are level-scaled, others are fixed level (between 20 and 30). It won't be only the opponent level that will be of challenge in Ceri's questline: Quest enemy mages will SMARTCast, just like Ceri does, against the you and your allies, exploiting any weaknesses you may have. Enemy mages will also heal their allies, just like Ceri heals you and your other followers. And decisions you make at various points in the quest may have impacts later on.

Ceri's v1.7 quest installment also begins building on my "friend" framework from v1.6 for party combat. For example, one of the new NPCs you'll meet during Ceri's quest will be a warrior archetype with the ability to "taunt" nearby enemies into attacking him instead of other party members. Also introduced in v1.7 is the ability for the player to "Call Target Focus" for those friended to Ceri; they'll all attempt to focus attacks on the target you've specified. Ceri will also have a new staff weapon in v1.7 (thanks to Reaper9111 for his wonderful textures). It is limited to apprentice-level damage, but won't require recharging, and Ceri will SMARTCast while using it.

And if you've not met Ceri yet, she's patiently awaiting your arrival at Riverwood's Sleeping Giant Inn. :)
