Warning: Technobabble ahead. These are my personal notes, I tend to just jot down every crazy idea that hits me, so don't count on any of this ever seeing the light of day. The list is not sorted in any particular order, but higher up tends to have higher priority and less insanity.

Note from Mayor: I have split this todo list so I can more easily keep track of what Saerileth wanted to implement, and I will try my best to incorporate some of these into the mod at some point.

Druid's Den - TODO

  • New area: battle-prep, potions & weapons equippment racks etc.
  • Sabertooth / Panther pet (because awesome). We’ll call him Richard Parker :D
  • Working bunk beds (ladder animation)
  • Eyes in treestumps! Make them blink from time (simple animated glow map)
  • Bug jar replacer -.-
  • Fix spouse not sleeping in bed bug, generally improve resident AI packages if at all possible
  • Fix scaled-up bed issue (put scale in mesh?)
  • Add bell to throne room that summons all NPCs for audience (scripting nightmare much?)
  • auto-loot for crafting
  • Renameable containers


Druid's Den - COMPLETE

  • Auto-sorting containers 
  • Clean up clutter (displays or statics, decide what to do with desk clutter in bedroom)
  • Quest to obtain the den (and something more inspired than "kill former owner" please!)
  • Custom tower mesh for nordic tileset (kids room), including ladders and landings
  • Craftable replicas, display original or copy, removes "freebe" of quest-aware content. Also fixes thieves guild collectibles. Same difficulty as above - maybe split quest-aware content up, have rooms / places to display stuff appear "magically" but keep the actual items to display real (moar collecting!)
  • Moss rugs in the hallways (fitted to stone floors -> edit meshes directly?), moss everywhere! Vines and plants and roots all round! Tree-shaped pillars! More (and more varied) skylights!
  • More dynamic lighting (JIT timers), lanterns can be lit / blown out WIP
  • Finish quest-aware content (and fix Meridia's Beacon, about time)
  • Critters (birds, foxes, hares, maybe bats in vampire area, SQUIRRELS!), may have to script / statically animate these (like the birds). Which would be a crazy amout of work, so don't count on it. Added rabbits and birds and bugs oh my. Would add foxes but they would eat the rabbits lol.
  • Adapt display scripts, need base item + alternative for craftable replicas. Introduce "higher tier" linked refs dependant on other displays (e.g. if coinstack enabled, prefer alternate location for gems)
  • -> How to make this work with key-value pair optimised container scripts?
  • Rebuild Cavern area (especially dining room), less pointless empty hallways / alcoves, shortcut kitchen to bedroom?
  • Prevent resizing children! And keep them away from dining room mannequin (creepy!)
  • Bug jar displays
