Skyrim

Coming soon. Designed to match the Targe of the Blooded shield found from Umana in Alftland, and taking inspiration from gladiator armors, mostly from the Secutor, but adding elements to make it practical/immersive for the weather in skyrim (considering whether it should have a chain mail or a quilted inner armor).

Still have to resize to be compatible for all size, gender, and race. And might make an alternative matching hood for those who prefer hoods rather than helms. Plus, a matching mace. And finally move on into creating realistic textures that try to match the style of skyrim.

Base materials will be steel and leather. So far, I have not settled on how I'm going to balance its stats. And whether or not to give them unique, balanced effects, and if should I also make an enhanced Targe of the blooded (improved bleeding effect) that can be forged using the original one.

So I'm gonna need some help from the community for thoughts and suggestions on the following:
> chain mail or quilted inner armor?
> stat balancing
> adding effects (unique if possible) that I could try adding in CK.

But please no requests/demands. This took weeks, spending personal free time, trying to get a working design, numerous adjustments, redesigning and getting the weights right for proper part movements, tolerable stretching and minimal to no clipping as possible. I'm not a veteran/professional modeler and can't work, as efficiently as they can.

If you have downloaded Immersive Armors, and enjoyed my Apotheus Armor kindly show your support by endorsing my mod.

Thanks.

Looks good, good job! I think if you coverd his legs like down to his knees, it would give more of a skyrim look. Since it is cold in skyrim. Also if the bracers for his shins were a little thick to make it look like he has more cushion in them, i think it would look pretty good.

I think that the quilted inner armor sounds more interesting, though seeing the final design would definitely make the decision easier. As it's a unique set, I would recommend putting it around the same level as Steel Plate. If you could increase Targe of the Blooded's stats, that would be fantastic as it bothers me how weak it is for one of the more interesting items of the game. Finally, a custom effect like occasionally redirecting damage could be nice.

Yeah I am thinking of that redirecting damage effect as well. As for the targe, I was thinking of maybe having the enhanced version give 15 bleeding damage. But I'm still working on a back story for for that.

Should add a fear effect - have small chance of scaring enimies away or something of the sort.

Chain sounds good. maybe something half and half like this?

Could be some sort of combination of chain/padding/cloth?

hmm.. I dunno, if halving the inner armor would look good with over all look... but it has led me to consider brigandine type armor. guess I'll have to render both types to see which is better. Thanks for the thought.
