Hi, hope your days gone well.
So, I have seen some here trying to work on their own LODs. and because I want to help.
for anyone interested, here is the full break-down for everything I use:
First-off, these are the mods:
- Skyrim Distant Detail
- SkyFalls and SkyMills - Animated Distant Waterfalls and WindMills
- High Quality LODs
Then, for distant terrain textures, thinking it's this one:
- HD Enhanced Terrain
and here comes the tricky part, the ini. these are the guides I followed:

Then, I use Imaginator, then some are finished in an image editor.
..and If you look carefully enough, you should even spot the Blue Palace!

Look into any modern modding guide from 2016/2017 that makes use of BethINI and modern LOD tools like DynDOLOD to have truly improved and stunning distance views.
only ctd's you get from this is U-grids. The rest is fine.
Try it for yourself. and how are any of these outdated mods, when they're not even scripted ?? ;P
