    If you listen very closely you can hear the "clucking" as they prepare to start nesting.

      Hahaha! That reminds me of the story about one of my old spinster aunts. She was a bit on the touched side and sometimes hard to deal with. She lived her whole life with her brother and his family and I remember once when my Dad asked him why did he put up with her (she used to refer to herself as an old hen and actually clucked under her breath as she went around the house) and he replied, 'yes she can be a handful but we need the eggs!'
