    Update: Quest is functional, dialogue is all there, it's now just a matter of putting it in the world and then voicing it. Hopefully won't be long until I upload it.


    Update 2: Mod is done, just waiting on some voice acting. You can download the pre-release version of the mod here if you want it immediately, but the quest-giver is unvoiced.

    To start the quest, talk to the Dunmer at Hlaalu Farm, outside of Windhelm. There are multiple ways you can complete the quest, depending on your speech skill, your smithing skill, or your killing tendencies.

    Billy, I might have to find to find that Dunmer and pommel bash him with sword after I make it. Something that beautiful would inspire violence in even the most peaceful person

    You're getting better and better in it. Have you thought of replacing this pattern (which is kinda small to my taste, could be noisy ingame) with actual dunmer murals?

      If I had a drawing tablet, I'd give it a go. However, drawing murals with a mouse won't produce acceptable results. I could use the banners in Morrowind as a base but I don't want to get in trouble for "porting" stuff between the games.

      Kirkbride got alot of concepts which can be used as displace maps for example.

    Love it. Great work on both carvings and choice of colors. Where is the quest set?

      Thanks. The quest I had in mind involved a Dunmer warrior on the east coast of Skyrim, who was looking for a capable blacksmith to forge him a sword - however, he is wanted by the law and thus cannot go in the cities. The player would have the choice of forging the sword, bribing him for a manual to make the sword, or simply killing him and taking the manual.

      Not sure if I'll actually follow through with it, though - that's a decent amount of work for a side-quest for a single weapon.

      Sounds amazing. The way you put it, it's actually pretty short and easy to make. Hit me up if you need anything - I usually do quests and this kind of seamless dialogue splicing.

      I might take you up on that offer - I've only made quests for Morrowind and haven't forayed into Skyrim's quest system yet. I've written the dialogue up in notepad (might transfer to some kind of diagram for clarity) and I can voice the character, so that's no issue.

      Just comes down to when I have the motivation, really.

    Looking great! I wish people would make such great daggers too! There are so many swords to be found but to find a good detailed dagger nowadays is a hard job atm. Still gonna endorse and download it though! Keep up the good work
