I was looking from some angle if you would be able to give Ripp her disarming smile in Fallout, gotta give a chance to the guys to settle in...

...but Teeth got hungry, those puppies, damn they need some attention, not to mention their careless diet...and the girls know to manipulate on such little facts...sigh...beautiful evils they are

      Thank you my friend!!
Sadly I couldn't get that smile to work in FO4, and I frustrate too easily.
      Well... and then there's Teeth...

      Ha ha, no doubt.
But in a way they do. I expect you know what I mean. If you write a bunch of Fallout work, after a while don't you want to write something for Grim?
I was even starting to miss Dr. Liche.... Yikes!

Good question and not sure - because to me Fenn is part of Grim's story so writing about Fenn means I am still in Grim's world to some degree. Part of the issue is Grim really became his own character with his own life with Erik and Wolfgar. I adore them all but I can't play him like I used to ... and feel a little guilty being the puppet master with them. So I more or less have them retired and they make cameo appearances. I did a short three part story in Skyrim recently with Fenn, Sayid, and Grim as a cross-over with Isleen's character Saarh. I can scratch the itch to have Grim around when I need to as he is in my saves and world. But as far as I know I don't think I could ever go back to writing a big book on him again. 4 was pushing it (and when I tried to do a 5th it fell apart and I scrubbed it ... just didn't have the energy for it).

So figured I would stop while I was ahead. Plus those long stories take more time and energy than I can swing now and I don't think people here want long stories - they like the short ones. Everybody is tight on time ... although of course how you spend time is balanced with how much you like doing something so its a bit relative. If you really enjoy something and want to do it you can usually adjust your time to do it ... although it does mean cutting other stuff.

Anyhow a pointless ramble. Grim and his family are happy on their own now. They have their retreats to get away too but otherwise spend most of their time working with the Black Wolf Company killing the undead and vampires while trying to get the Thalmor out of Skyrim.

Fenn was the host/avatar for Fenrir but Fenrir left Fenn to his own devices now - in the hopes he will become the leader of the TG as part of the bargain with Nocturnal. Fenrir watches over Nirn on a temporary basis (until Grim is ready to do it again) as the Thistle King. Eventually he will move on and Grim will take the position for real ... but that is a ways off as it was clear he wasn't ready for it before.

Fenrir spent time in the Plane of Fallout as Fenn fixing things there. When done he let Fenn go his own way. He recreated Fenn in Skyrim as well ... its possible he is the same Fenn from FO4 but I have left that vague on purpose.

At the moment Fenn is working for Fenrir and has been sent back in time and is in the ESO based era of TES. Thanks to time travel Fenn can be in three places at once - Skyrim, FO4, and ESO

I think you also have more patience (And certainly skill) than I have at adapting you characters (Or there continuing story) into a new "world"
Whereas I frustrate too easily and want all my familiar tools back again.
But yes the characters themselves have a hold on me and feel guilty "abandoning" them.
      Perhaps I need medication

Ripp and Silke certainly aren't fond of peaceful times, not enough chaos and mischief around to keep them from getting bored, it seems it would be wise for you to make that mischief happen soon with them displeased with you

What are we going to call this new dish? Jerall Mountain Oysters? Nordic Gonad Surprise?

    *cough*

Oh, that's the doctors office. Anyway, looking forward to whatever you come up with to satisfy Ripp

Thank you dear. I got the warning loud and clear.

Fallout is fun, but just lacking the incredible tool set that Skyrim has for story work.

But mainly I miss my highly developed characters here...that is to say the puppets that control my brain
