Probably because she isn't used to socializing, something that Bee is helping her with. Interfacing with the public etc. Also could be because when I was taking screenshots she kept defaulting to surprise 70 for some odd reason...
That happens to me quite a bit too. Pretty annoying when you have a good shot lined up and the look on your characters face is like you're holding their puppy at gunpoint.
