Launch your game and disable vertical sync (V-Sync) in the settings menu. Then toggle frame generation.
This will result in screen tearing. To restore vertical sync and keep frame generation working properly, open Nvidia Control Panel, navigate to "Manage 3D settings", and then enable "Vertical sync" for your specific game.
Old framerate limiters don't work correctly. Check if they explicitly support frame generation first.
If you experience crashes while changing graphics settings in menus and are using an external overlay (RTSS, MSI Afterburner, Special-K, ReShade, etc...) try closing the overlay process first. Outdated versions don't support asynchronous frame generation.
I love this "mod." It literally enables DLSS3 functionality on ALL RTX CARDS!
It has more than doubled my fps in some cases like Kingdom Come Deliverance 1 with Puredark DLSS3 enabler on my 3070, Cyberpunk maxed PT 1440p tranformer model too. Everything. I can run everything maxed pathtraced on my 3070 solely because of this mod. Never saw chop in Dragons Dogma 2, ever, because I used this right off the bat. Alan Wake 2? Maxed PT again. Every single thing, this works on every RTX card and it is an absolute must.
If you have ANY RTX card I dare you to not thank me, after you have use this.
Works in ALL official DLSS3 titles, as well as any "enabler" mods like Puredark, which opens up completely new doors to untapped resources that you possess right now, if you have an RTX card!
Hi, maybe you already know this, but 4x multi frame generation works in cyberpunk with this mod (laptop 3070ti). I used nvidiainspector to set 4x.
@Nukem do you know why this mod and nvidiainspector supports/sets 4x framegen specifically in Cyberpunk and it works? I tried Everspace 2 (last very recent update), Deliver us Mars, Doom Eternal, Strafield ... could not FG 4x.
I tried this with my rtx 3080 card and to my surprise it mostly worked, however I am getting this faint black box artifact when I move my camera. When i disable the frame gen it goes away. Were you experiencing this too? If so, how did you fix it?
I have perfectly clear 'picture', and don't know this problem, but first thing came to my mind maybe toggle v sync on/off, disable full screen optimisation and set high DPI settings override to 'application' right clicking on cyberpunk2077.exe and if on latest version 2.21 try to make sure you use transformer model.
The above might help, if not, I am sure someone on this forum knows a fix.
I'm having trouble getting this to work in Starfield.
I've tried both regular and universal versions but the frame gen option stays grey and inaccessible despite trying dif file name versions too. Even the reg edit didn't help.
I don't use dlss tweaks but I guess I'll try that version too :s
Hi, put version.dll and dlssg_to_fsr3_amd_is_better.dll in main starfield installation directory (where starfield.exe is), disable/enable nvidia checks using the regs, restart computer (restart may be needed). LMK
Just chiming in, seems to work wonders in Doom Dark Ages on my 3090 FE. I used the universal pack and the version.dll. And be sure to have HAGS/Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling enabled. Dlss quality sitting at a solid 120fps. I was getting a good 90-100 before, but now the gpu isnt pegged at 97% and its down to 60-70.
DOOM: The Dark Ages is working with DLSS x2 thanks to dbghelp, but instead the in-game FPS is around 100, mostly the feeling is like it is 45-50 FPS. Does anyone know why that happens? Many games had it so smooth, but the gameplay in DOOM doesn't feel any smooth at all.
Not one game isnt maxed pathtraced 1440p Dlssp transformer model.
This mod literally saves you from needing to upgrade to a 4000 series for a single feature. Every single commercial, native, and even modded DLSS3 title works. Elden Ring with Puredark, RDR2, Ratchet and Clank, TLOU, Cyberpunk, Alan Wake 2...
ALL maxed 60+ fps on a 3070.
Do NOT waste your money on new cards before you try this, you WILL find out you are wasting money and you can also **** Nvidia where it hurts.
If you have any questions, ask ME. I have been using this since the day it came out and WILL be here every single day to help you get this working without a canned, cut paste response. I stop here every morning, feel more than free to ask.
DLSS frame generation and FSR frame generation are the same thing.
The only advantage you have is Nvidia working with some devs to remove UI blurring.
You are right though- It is "simple" because they are so similar. Just like DLSS2->FSR2 conversions they use the same sets of data, except this time its tech that has been around in VR since 2015, so its already refined.
Nvidia is playing people for fools tying frame generation to arbitrary pieces of hardware on your cards.
PS: FSR frame gen > the DLSS frame gen imo. It is faster on average. This enforces reflex too.
This is quite interesting question to me as well. As far as I know that this mod replaces the DLSS-FG with FSR3.1 FG by using AMD FSR3 SDK Open source code that allows you to enable DLSS and REFLEX at the same time in supported games but the thing is whenever you enable this mod, CPU Usage is decreasing and it tends to transfer the performance workload to the GPU, which seems that Optical Flow Accelarators working right? I mean I believe that this mod also letting for RTX20/30 GPUs to work with their own Optical Flow cores even if they are relatively slower compared to RTX40/50 series. The reason why I'm saying is, official supported FSR3 and FSR3.1 FG doesn't decrease the CPU usage even one bit, working on full software but this one seems hardware related maybe this is just about the REFLEX, dunno. If anyone has more info about this stuff, I'd be also happily want to learn the remaining details.

It does not seem to work in The Sinking City Remastered.
A dlssg_to_fsr3.log is generated and you can enable DLSS frame generation in the in-game settings, but it does not actually work (enabling DLSS frame generation will reduce FPS).
Below is the content of the log after the game is finished.

It's not the mod issue, game's official DLSS FG doesn't work even on RTX 40 series GPUs for now. Just saw a related report that someone who owns a RTX 4080 Super claims DLSS FG doesn't work so wait for further game update until it's fixed. Btw, FSR interpolation works perfectly smooth but sadly it uses the 3.0 version that only allows you to enable FSR3 Upscaler with its Frame Generation..
game's official DLSS FG doesn't work even on RTX 40 series GPUs for now.
I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. No wonder it doesn't work...
Other games (e.g. Oblivion Remastered) that are implemented in the game, the delay is so bad that I can't play the game. Using this mod and enabling FSR-FG helped me because I can play the game with no delay.
When it comes to Puredark Mods, all of his Builds works fine with Nukems mod but only KCD2 Build doesn't work for me on RTX 3060 12GB. I mean whenever I put the mod files into the executable directory along with the Puredark mod files, game automatically crashes to the desktop. Tried all 01/02/03 Builds and any other OSD Overlays are disabled btw..
The Witcher 3 Next-Gen — DLSSG-to-FSR3 Mod Installation Guide
According to the mod’s official wiki, The Witcher 3 (Next-Gen version) is one of the best-performing titles using FSR3 Frame Generation. It delivers excellent visual quality and frame pacing — and is even considered the "golden standard" for this mod.
⚠️ Known Issue: - If DLDSR is enabled, graphical artifacts may appear and the game could crash during rapid mouse movements. - Recommended to disable DLDSR for best results.
🧩 Compatibility: - Reported to work without issues (when DLDSR is off). - DLSS Frame Generation quality is among the best out of all supported titles.
🛠️ Installation Steps (Steam Version): 1. Navigate to your Witcher 3 installation directory: ...\Steam\steamapps\common\The Witcher 3\bin\x64_dx12
2. Place the following files inside the x64_dx12 folder:
version.dll (or try winhttp.dll or dbghelp.dll if issues arise)

3. Launch the game using DirectX 12 mode.
✅ Done! Enjoy smoother gameplay with AMD-style FSR3 Frame Generation, even on NVIDIA GPUs.
Cyberpunk 2077 — DLSSG-to-FSR3 Mod + CET Compatibility Guide
Someone had asked about this issue previously, and I suggested this setup — reposting here for visibility:
For Cyberpunk 2077, when using the DLSSG-to-FSR3 modtogether withCyber Engine Tweaks (CET), the correct DLL to use is:
winhttp.dll
Why: - version.dll is commonly used, but it conflicts with CET, which also uses that filename. - winhttp.dll is fully compatible and allows both the mod and CET to work side by side without issues.
Installation Steps: 1. Go to your Cyberpunk 2077 installation directory (where Cyberpunk2077.exe is located). Default location: ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64
2. Place the following files there:
winhttp.dll
dlssg_to_fsr3_amd_is_better.dll
This setup ensures CET works correctly while still letting you benefit from DLSS Frame Generation via the mod.
Absolutely — it’s an amazing (and free!) mod, no doubt. But I really hope the developer continues its development, as more people are reporting issues with newer game releases. It deserves long-term support to stay compatible.

Enable FG in game with this mod. Use version.dll.
Update all 3 nvidia related dlss files to newest version i.e. v310.2.1 with DLSS swapper, or manually in CP2027.
Dowload nvidiaispector newest version.
In nvidiainspector Go to section 5 - Common section and set all as below:
-DLSS-enable DLL override On - DLSS overridden by latest available
-DLSS-forced preset level Always use latest
-DLSS-FG Enable DLL override On - DLSS-FG overridden by latest available
-DLSS-FG Multiframegenration count 4x
I get 150-190 FPS on ultra performance and all full settings @1440p. Joy to play TBH.
