An Vortex Extension for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.
This addon/extension to Vortex will give the app support for installing mods for the game should you wish to use Vortex as the Mod Manager for the game.

An Vortex Extension for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.

This addon/extension to Vortex will give the app support for installing mods for the game should you wish to use Vortex as the Mod Manager for the game.
Its very simple and created by using the code and examples from the wiki: https://modding.wiki/en/vortex/developer/create-a-game-extension

  • Supports the Steam version of the game. (The only PC version to my knowledge)
  • Installs .PAK mods (Pretty much all mods except Reshade)
  • Removes folders and sub-folders from mods zip-files automatically.


I will notify the Vortex developers about this extension, perhaps they will consider adding it to the official client.


Installation
Since its not an official extension yet you will need to manually add it to Vortex.
  • Open the Vortex application
  • Go to the Extensions page
  • Drag and drop the game-dragonballzkakarot.zip on the "Drop File(s)" zone or click on it to browse the file.
  • Restart Vortex
  • Go to the Games page.
  • Search for "Dragon ball Z" and the game should show up.
  • Click on the game to add it. Done!


Changelog:
Version 1.1.0 - Added removal of folders and subfolders within mod zip-files. Also checks that the mod is for the correct game.
