The add-ons read as "installed" whenever I view them in the ESO UI tab from this extension, but they're not present in the Documents folder nor are they present in-game. Am I doing something wrong? D:

Edit: Nothing ever got downloaded due to "Eeros Secure." I hate router software.

I might just be a complete Vortex noob, but I'm having some troubles. First off, I've been playing ESO via Steam here, but when I launch ESO from Vortex, it asks for login info I don't have, as I'm using Steam. Any ideas how to make it launch properly through Steam? Secondly, I've run into an issue where Tamriel Trade Center's client won't play nice with Vortex's virtual files. Anyone have any ideas on how to make that work properly?

You can use Vortex just for addon installing and launch ESO through Steam. What kind of issue are you running into with Tamriel Trade Center?

The dependencies for Lorebooks and Skyshards didn't install. What did I miss?

Is it possible to make a collection using mods from Eso UI?
As in, is it possible to add eso UI to the collection source options so it can be downloadable as a collection?
If i change the individual mod source's then they wont update, will they?

Unfortunately, that's not possible, it's a limitation with the Collections feature of Nexus Mods. However, if you have Premium Membership you can use my other plugin Modlist Backup to dump your addon list as a JSON file, and then restore from that file which will automatically install all your addons in one go. I've used this to share modlists with friends before

Absolutely incredible. Thank you so much for creating and maintaining this, as well as making the Firefox extension.

    Hi Garethp,

It looks like this error is caused by your extension. Possibly due to the ESOClient failing to initialise, but it prevents Vortex from starting up entirely. https://forums.nexusmods.com/topic/13472288-vortex-sending-error-messages-on-loading-after-update/

Vortex no longer recognizes a mod as having been updated at any point.  Even while looking at the updated mod on ESOUI and right clicking on said mod in Vortex, Vortex does not see the update.  This means you have to go and check each mod page to see if an update happens to have happened and then if so, install it while removing the old version.

I'm having this issue too. The error in the notifications says:

Requesting url "https://api.nexusmods.com/v1/user/endorsements" failed with status "401".
This code is usually caused by an invalid request, maybe you followed a link that has expired or you lack permission to access it.

I've tried logging out and logging back in and it still won't see any mod updates. If I try to reinstall it, it only downloads and installs the older version previously installed, not the new update. The only way to get a mod to update is by uninstalling it and reinstalling it.

Noticed after ESO Update 39 (21 Aug 2023) that vortex is no longer seeing updates on ESO unless you check each mod individually.  I don't think its related to the game update, but I checked today because its been since the last update since any of my addons have needed to be updated.

    Good day!

I've noticed that the general check for update button(optimied and full) doesnt work for addons that are already updated. I need to right click each addon and press check for update to force it. It does see the new update that way. but its getting annoying to do that for each addon once every 2 weeks. not sure if anyone else has encountered this issue yet.

Thnx for any info and have a great day!

Found a workaround. When I select all the addons and then click check for update it works.
