This extension adds Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales as a game supported in Vortex for mod management. The extension will guide you through the installation of Spider-Man PC Modding Tool by jedijosh920 which is used under the hood to apply and remove mods from the game. 

The installation of ".SMPCMOD" files is achieved by extracting the mod into the Vortex staging folder. This allows Vortex to report conflicts between mods that replace the same assets from the original game. On deployment, Vortex will create a merged mod containing all the chosen assets and applies it using SMPC Tool which updates the TOC file in the asset_archives directory.

To revert to the base game simply uninstall all mods or use the "Purge Mods" button to temporarily remove the mods you have enabled. Deploying again will re-apply any removed mods. 

When installing a mod with multiple ".SMPCMOD" files, Vortex will present a choice to allow you to pick which one you want to use. This is to prevent mods that have an uninstaller version from conflicting with themselves. Uninstallers are not required when using Vortex. 

Finally, Vortex also has a "Load order" page, which lists any mods installed outside of Vortex but into the SMPC Tool Mods folder. You can use this screen to enable/disable different mods, but Vortex will only report conflicts with mods it has installed so we recommend reinstalling any other mods through the app.


Vortex Install (Easy)

• In Vortex, locate Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered in the Games tab.
• Click on the game tile to manage it, install the extension as prompted.
• Click the prompt to restart Vortex.
  

Vortex Install (Advanced)

• Navigate to the Extensions tab.
• Drop the 7z archive into the "drop zone" at the bottom of the page.
• Click the prompt to restart Vortex.
