Description
This game extension will add Vortex modding support for Resident Evil 8 (Village) - the extension will currently cater for all texture/mesh/ui replacement mods but will not support reshade mods or "hook" mods which are generally distributed in ".dll" format.
Installation

Please note that your game extension will not be automatically updated if you opt for this method and you risk to miss out on important bugfixes.
Manual Install
Same as the Advanced method, the game extension will not be automatically updated when using this method.
- Vortex 1.4.12 or newer is required for this game extension to function!
- Absolutely NEVER use Vortex in combination with other Resident Evil mod managers unless you want to break your game!
- Do NOT close Vortex or run the game while a validation operation is running, no matter how long it takes - go make yourself a tea while you're waiting.
- This game extension cannot function with the RE8 Demo version of the game.

Installation
Vortex Install (Easy)
- Inside Vortex, locate Resident Evil: Village in the Games tab.
- Click on the game tile to manage it (download will be required), install the extension as prompted.
- Restart Vortex.
Vortex Install (Advanced)
Please note that your game extension will not be automatically updated if you opt for this method and you risk to miss out on important bugfixes.
- Navigate to the Extensions tab.
- Drop the 7z archive into the "drop zone" at the bottom of the page.
- Click the prompt to restart Vortex.
Manual Install
Same as the Advanced method, the game extension will not be automatically updated when using this method.
