Yeah, but typically I only download a couple of texture mods here and there that happen to not use any meshes and haven't been ported to SE. Though it's not the worst thing in the world, like you said the other games like Skyrim SE and Skyrim VR were fixed. Thanks for the clarification.
I don't quite understand what this mod does. Will it allow me to download mods for any game no matter which is assigned as the active game, then allow me to install said mods to the game I want them for? For example, I could have mods for Fallout 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, Baldur's Gate 3, and Skyrim SE downloading all at the same time, then switch between games and install them as I see fit? Because if so, this is amazing and if not, I'm stupid.
Sorry for the stupid question, I'm not very good at modding.
Did you read the description? If so which part doesn't make sense?
Basically, it's useful for games where you can download mods from a different part of the Nexus Mods website and it will prevent the warning from Vortex that it's for the wrong game. e.g. Skyrim SE + Skyrim VR or XCOM2 + XCOM2:WOTC
Now this is a mod I've been looing for! I really love your work!
Question, does this only mark mods for compatibility at the time they are downloaded, or does this automatically recognize mods that already have been downloaded? A long waze ago, my computer crashed and took my vortex installation with it. But my downloaded archives were kept in my cloud drive. All of my Skyrim SE mods were no longer marked compatible with Skyrim VR when I reinstalled them and their isn't a way (that I know of) to bulk add the compatibility of these mods to Skyrim VR. I've had to add them one at a time. Then I gave up (I've got nearly 18K mods) and made a dirty work around that I'm not happy with, but it works. If I add this to my vortex installation, I'm most likely going to have to undo my work around.
Also, is there any way of sharing or syncing metadata for mods between games? All of my notes and metadata are saved mostly in my Skyrim VR installed mods. It take soooo much time to switch back and forth manually sync this stuff. Thank you!
I've tried offering the suggestion in Vortex feedback two or thee times the past year about adding a bulk/multiple selection option to the downloads area for enabling compatibility for multiple mods at a time. But I've never received a response like some of my suggestions in the past that have been accepted or turned down before. So I'm guessing this suggestion was either redundant, or I'm being ignored, or sometimes the feedback system doesn't work. I hate to think I'm being ignored, I try not to be a nuisance. Only want to help. Thanks again!

I suppose I could add a button to the downloads toolbar to do that though.
