This is a simple texture replacer to make the visibility meter in the HUD a bit less helpful, thus requiring the player to rely more heavily on their own eyes for determining if they've picked a good hiding place or not. It replaces the indicators for all stages of low visibility (anything below 2 red rings on the meter) with a single red ring, no eye. This lets the player know they are in a relatively low visibility state, but they can't be sure if they are totally hidden or slightly visible, as the graphics for those stages are now identical. I left the meter unchanged for 2 red rings and higher as there needs to be some way for the player to tell if they're significantly exposed - if the player were hiding in a bush in real life, they'd know immediately if half their body was poking out of cover. Instructions are for Sir version 1.3, but this should work on any version of Sir as it just replaces a handful of textures. To use, simply replace the list of textures below in sharedassets2.assets. You will need to use a utility that will allow you to open and update .asset files to do so -- I recommend Grim's Unity Asset Editor. A screenshot is included in this .zip showing what low visibility status looks like once the mod is applied.

*Installation via Grim's UAE:*

1. Back up your vanilla copy of sharedassets2.assets (found in \Sir, You Are Being Hunted\sir_v1.3_Data) somewhere safe, you will need this if you decide to stop using this mod.
2. Launch Grim's UAE and select File > Open
3. Navigate to sharedassets2.assets and open.
4. Scroll down to T_Vis-1 in the list of files (index position as of Sir version 1.3 is #117).
5. Right-click on T_Vis-1 and select Import, filtering on .DDS type (do NOT select "Add" or filter on "any file" as both will break the .asset pack).
6. Navigate to T_Vis-1.dds in the mod package and hit Open.  UAE will replace the old version of the texture with the new one.
7. Repeat steps 4-6 for T_Vis_eye.
8. Go to File > Save As and save a modified copy of sharedassets2.assets somewhere handy.
9. Place this updated version of sharedassets2.assets in your \Sir, You Are Being Hunted\sir_v1.3_Data folder.
10.Try not to be seen!

*Uninstallation:*
1.If you want to restore the vanilla visibility meter files, just copy the original version of sharedassets2.assets you backed up in step 1 (you DID back it up, right?) into sir_v1.3_Data, overwriting the edited one.
