Adds 2 pirate flags and sails in crimson red. The Jolie Rouge, bastardized by the English as Jolly Roger, was the red pirate flag. It meant "no proisoners", so yeah, it was the scariest one to see going up a mast.

Adds 2 pirate flags and sails in crimson red.
Just unpack the zip into the "custom" directory under your main game directory.
The Jolie Rouge (Pretty Red in French), bastardized by the English as Jolly Roger, was the red pirate flag, and the real scary one.
The black flag was the most usual one, and it usually meant that if you surrender your cargo peacefully, you'd still keep your life and possibly even your ship. But if you fired at the pirates and killed someone, often the black flag would go down and the red flag would go up. It meant : now you better be sure you can win, because otherwise you're all dead.
Or on a more practical note, I wanted an easily distinguishable flag and sail for my ships, so I can distinguish them from all the other ships.
