Completely new dependency-free version rebuilt and this should work. Please follow the installation instructions, they have changed.

update 2 : Found bug in this current version with the ESOTERIST character trait which would lead to a crash. For now, don't pick that trait.
update 3:Game is working for some people it seems. Be sure to read the installation instructions,
the game won't run if the game can't find the required files.

Shit is going down tonight. And you're the dude causing the shit!

This is an expansive addition to Shadowrun: Returns with tons of new content, a million new challenges, and a hundred tweaks. In this new campaign you'll try to take over Old Detroit, one faction at a time, as you uncover a plot of galactic interdimensional proportions! Combing strategic, tactical and management gameplay this is the game you've been waiting for.

KILL-CITY: Detroit features control of up to 8 runners at a time, including spirits, animals and cyborgs..!
KILL-CITY: Detroit also features 10 seperate bases you can call your own, and upgrade as you please!

Installation instructions

1) Download Kill-City Detroit non-steam version here on Nexus.
2) Unzip it to the following directory:
C:(whereyouinstalledsteam)Steam/SteamApp/common/Shadowrun Returns/Shadowrun_Data/StreamingAssets/ContentPacks

The default for most Windows users is:
C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppcommonShadowrun ReturnsShadowrun_DataStreamingAssetsContentPacks

I'll probably make an easier batch file or installer to automate this, but for now you got to find this directory.

So your directory there will look like:
dead_man_switch
killcity_detroit
seattle
shadowrun_core

Then go to 'Content' from Shadowrun's main menu and Kill-City will show as installed and hopefully run.

This latest rebuild includes all the needed dependencies and puts them into your Seattle (default installation) directory. I'm hoping this version could work for tablets as well, please give it a go and let me know if it does :)
